Service Performance Evaluation of Rubber Floating Slab Track for Metro in Operation

Abstract Guangzhou metro line 1 is one of the first to adopt floating slab track in Chinese mainland, it has been operation for more than 20 years up now. In order obtain vibration reduction performance after long service, systematic field test and laboratory are carried out. The results show that: (1) rubber bearing keeps good appearance. (2) measurement shore hardness elongation at break that, a certain degree hardening service. Other mechanical properties still meet design requirements. (3) natural frequency 33.9 Hz, its effect good, result 12.9 dB. effective damping band above 35 Hz. (4) vertical dynamic displacement amplitude rail bed lower limit value given relevant specifications. (5) that condition, it’s qualified maintain normal
